HUB

FOR SchYPAR

SchYPAR is a process of youth-led research, critical inquiry, and collective action. This hub brings together the tools, examples, and classroom supports needed to move from reflection to implementation — and from planning to student action.

Explore reflection guides, planning templates, graphic organizers, and ready-to-use lesson supports organized by phase. You’ll also find teacher implementation examples and student work — including presentations, policy briefs, and action projects — that illustrate what SchYPAR can look like in real classrooms.

Whether you are beginning your first unit or refining your approach, these resources are designed to be adaptable, practical, and grounded in student voice.

Resources to Do SchYPAR

SchYPAR implementation moves through three layers: reflection, planning, and classroom enactment. Each layer serves a different purpose — start where you are.

Reflection

Before launching YPAR, pause to clarify your goals, context, and role as a facilitator. These tools support educators in imagining what YPAR could look like in their classrooms, anticipating challenges, and identifying opportunities to center student voice and leadership.

Planning Tools

Move from vision to structure with teacher-facing planning tools that help you map your YPAR journey phase by phase. Use the Unit Planner, Phase Map, and YPAR Guide Table to outline goals, pacing, milestones, and scaffolds — and design a timeline that works within your curriculum.

Student-Driven Tools

These student-driven tools are designed with students in mind. Organized by YPAR phase, the graphic organizers scaffold brainstorming, research design, data analysis, reflection, and action planning — making inquiry visible and manageable for learners.
